Where Should I Be?
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram… the list goes on and on.
Are you on all of them? None of them? Not sure? Social media is a very important part of your online presence, but it’s meant to be just that – social – not stressful!
First of all, no, you don’t have to be on ALL of the social networks – and you shouldn’t be.
Where should you be? You should be where your ideal client is! Where’s that, you ask? We can help you figure that out.
Ok, so once we’ve figured out where your ideal client is, you’re probably wondering, “what’s next?” We’ll sit together (virtually or in-person) and look at some of the key factors that will decide the next steps: Budget, time, and resources.
The dirty word – budget!
How much can you realistically budget for your social media marketing this year? We’ll take that number and work out a plan and timeline so that you can get the most out of it! A social media audit will give us a clear look at where you are now so we can work out the steps that are needed to get you to where you need to be.
Tick – tock
Time – what is the timeframe to accomplish the plan? Working backwards, we’ll break the tasks down into manageable chunks and set mini-timeframes to complete those tasks. We’ll also take a look at how much time YOU can devote to social media and set up a plan to make every minute count. Don’t have time to spend yourself? That brings us back to the B word – outsourcing will need to be worked into that budget, which brings us to resources.
We have already addressed how much of your personal time you can, or want to, devote to social media, now we’ll discuss your team. Do you already have a team set up? One or more people that you can assign some of these social media tasks to? And before you say “Yeah, my 15-year-old is on Instagram all the time!”, realize that this is someone who can devote time, weekly and daily, to actively marketing your brand. Once you’ve covered what you can with your in-house team, it’s time to look outside. We’ll help you fill in your team where you need it most and get your social media presence running smoothly and effectively!
